The settlement of Molinginish is relatively close to Rhenigidale by sea, although obscured by promontories. Walking there along the coast is hazardous and so the recommended route is to take the Urgha track up the zig-zag path and to turn left at the sign just below the summit. The former village consists of two restored houses and several ruins including a long-house, dating probably from Norse times, and a side school, an eventual result of the requirements of the 1870 Education Act.
