Molinginish to the West of Rhenigidale
Previous blogs have encouraged visitors to Rhenigidale to continue exploring by walking over the hill, not around the coast, to Molinginish. The Northern Trip site gives plenty of background to the once small, but flourishing, settlement that is now a holiday home. Interesting information is also carried about the 36 townships which were to be found, until the 1820s, across Loch Seaforth in The Pairc. They are listed and present food for thought about the ways in which the sea was once the sole highway as well as the larder.
